Eastern Illinois lost a close contest at home to Austin Peay on Saturday afternoon as the Panthers dropped to 12-8 overall, 6-2 in the OVC.  EIU will travel to UT Martin for a Thursday OVC contest before returning home to host SIU Edwardsville on Saturday and Baker University next Tuesday.  UT Martin enters the game at 12-7 overall, 4-2 in the OVC after a home win over Southeast Missouri on Saturday afternoon. The Skyhawks are 6-2 at home this year. 

ANDERSON SHOOTING WELL IN OVC PLAY
Trae Anderson scored a season high 22 points hitting 10-of-17 from the field against Austin Peay on Saturday.  Anderson has now scored in double figures in six of the Panthers last seven games and 11 times for the season.  He is shooting 49.4 percent for the season but has increased that shooting average to 63 percent in OVC play.  In addition to scoring from the field, Anderson has been able to get to the free throw line where he has made at least one free throw in every game but the season opener (16 straight).

JOHNSTON ON THE ASSIST
Cornell Johnston flirted with a double-double on Saturday against Austin Peay as the freshman guard finished with 11 points and eight assists.  It was the third time in the last four games he has scored in double figures with a high of 22 points at Morehead State.  The eight assists tied his season high from previous games against Eureka College and at UC Davis.  Johnston currently ranks 5th in the OVC in assists per game.
