Eastern Illinois returns home to host Tennessee State on Wednesday after opening Ohio Valley Conference play on the road.  The Panthers split their opening weekend trip falling to Tennessee Tech on Thursday before rallying to beat Jacksonville State on Saturday.  At TTU, the home standing Golden Eagles shot 71 percent in the second half to pull away with a ten point win over EIU.  At JSU it was the Panthers who shot 70 percent in the second half as the Panthers pulled away for an 11 point road victory to stand at 4-10 overall, 1-1 in the OVC.  TSU enters the week at 1-0 in the OVC after winning on Saturday at Southeast Missouri.  TSU has been one of the surprise teams this year with a 10-4 record entering the game.  

McREYNOLDS RED HOT FROM THE FIELD 
Demetrius McReynolds was red hot for the Panthers on Saturday at Jacksonville State knocking down 10-of-13 shots from the field with 19 of his 21 points coming in the second half.  McReynolds has scored in double figures in three straight games and five of the last six contests.  He is shooting 50 percent from the field for the season and over the last five games is shooting 61.9 percent from the floor and 50 percent from 3-point range averaging 13.4 points per game in those five games.

TESON KNOCKING DOWN 3'S 
Casey Teson scored in double figures for the third straight game with 14 points at Jacksonville State.  Teson was 3-of-6 from 3-point range as he now has seven games this season with three or more made 3-pointers in a game.  For the season Teson has knocked down 31 3-pointers which ranks fifth in the OVC for 3-pointers made per game.  He ranks ninth in the OVC in 3-point field goal percentage at 39.7 having made 10 of his last 21 3-pointers.
