Cale Hennemann was the hero in Wednesday's game against Illinois College. Hennemann sent Eastern Illinois home with a win on two-out walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Panthers a 7-6 win.

Mitch Gasbarro collected two doubles in the game against Illinois College with his second coming in the bottom of the ninth inning that led to the game-tying run to send the game into extra-innings.

Ben Hughes had a solid outing in his start against Illinois College. The red-shirt freshman right-handed pitcher tossed four innings scattering four hits, while allowing just one run, one walk, and striking out seven batters.
• The Panthers will go with senior RHP
Brendon Allen in game one versus Belmont on Friday. Junior RHP
Chase Thurston will start in game two on Saturday. Redshirt-senior RHP
Matt Wivinis will go on the bump for the Panthers in the series finale on Sunday.
• Following their three-game series against Belmont, the Panthers will continue their home stand with a pair of midweek games against Saint Louis (Apr. 26) and Indiana State (Apr. 27).

Jason Anderson is in his 1st season as the Panthers skipper after being hired to take on the role in the summer of 2015. Anderson picked up the first win of his coaching career with a 10-8 victory over No.12 Arkansas in 12 innings on March 5, 2016.
