GAME 19
Eastern Illinois heads back on the road for Ohio Valley Conference play having lost back-to-back home OVC games last weekend to Murray State and Austin Peay.  For the season EIU dropped to 9-9 overall, 1-4 in the OVC.  The Panthers will play at UT Martin on Thursday night and travel to Southeast Missouri on Saturday.  Both UTM and SEMO are 2-3 in the OVC, just one game ahead of EIU.  UT Martin improved to 12-8 overall last Saturday beating Southeast Missouri at home. The Skyhawks are 8-2 this season at the Elam Center.  EIU is 4-5 on the road this year.

McREYNOLDS BIG NIGHT
Demetrius McReynolds had the biggest scoring game of his career on Saturday against Austin Peay with 19 first half points and 32 for the game.  He became the first EIU player since Trae Anderson (31 at Marshall, Dec. 9, 2015) to score 30 or more points in a game.  McReynolds finished the game 13-of-18 from the field.  It was the eighth time in his EIU career he scored 20 or more points in a game.  McReynolds also matched his career high for rebounds pulling down 12 as he posted his fifth career double-double and first one this season (last Feb. 20, 2016 at SEMO).

DAMA ADDS ANOTHER DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Muusa Dama posted his fifth double-double of the season as he scored a season high 16 points to go along with ten rebounds against Austin Peay.  It was the ninth time this season Dama has collected double figure rebounds as he ranks second in the OVC in rebounding at 9.8 per game.  In addition to posting a double-double, Dama had three blocked shots for the second straight game as he increased his season total to 38 blocks.  He currently leads the OVC in blocks and is tied for fifth on the EIU single season blocks list.  He needs four more to move into a tie for third.
