GAME 23
Eastern Illinois interrupts its extended home stand as the Panthers travel to Tennessee State on Thursday night for a nationally televised game on CBS Sports Net.  EIU is in the midst of playing five of six games at home in Lantz Arena.  The home stand began last week with a split against Belmont and SIU Edwardsville as the Panthers are now 10-12 overall, 2-7 in the OVC.   Tennessee State also split games with SIUE and Belmont last week as the Tigers are now 13-9 overall, 4-5 in the OVC.

LEWIS JOINS ELITE GROUP
Terrell Lewis opened Saturday's game going 6-of-8 from 3-point range before finishing the contest 8-of-12 from beyond the arc as he matched his career high with 24 points.  Lewis became the 11th player in school history to make seven or more 3-pointers in a game and the first to hit that magic number since Romain Martin on Feb. 28, 2009 at Tennessee State.  Lewis is now seventh in the OVC with 54 3-pointers this season.  For his career he ranks seventh on the EIU 3-pointers made list with 173.  He needs four to tie Derrick Landrus for sixth on the Panthers career chart.  Earlier this season at UT Martin (Jan. 19), Lewis became the EIU career leader in assists as he now has 428.

CROSSLAND POSTS FIRST DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Ray Crossland posted his first career double-double on Saturday after flirting with double-doubles in three other games earlier this season.   Crossland matched his career high with 19 points going 6-of-11 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the four line.  He had 19 points two other times this season against Bradley and at Morehead State.  Crossland had three previous games with double figure scoring and nine rebounds.  Against SIUE he pulled down a season high 10 rebounds.
