GAME 16
Eastern Illinois wraps up its two-game Ohio Valley Conference road swing through Kentucky with a Saturday afternoon game at Eastern Kentucky.  The Panthers have lost three straight games after falling at Morehead State on Thursday night.  EIU is 8-7 overall, 0-2 in the OVC.  Eastern Illinois has not started an OVC season 0-3 since 2013 which was head coach Jay Spoonhour's first year at the helm.  EIU faces an Eastern Kentucky team that picked up a decisive win over SIU Edwardsville on Thursday night at home.  The Colonels are 8-9 overall, 1-1 in the OVC.  Eastern Illinois leads the OVC in turnovers forced with opponents turning the ball over 18.1 times per game.  EKU has the second most turnovers this season with 239.

GOODWIN POSTS SEASON HIGH
After being held to a season low four points in the OVC opener against Jacksonville State, Montell Goodwin responded with a season high 23 points on Thursday at Morehead State.  It was the third time this season Goodwin has scored 20 or more points with 22 points in the road win at Missouri and 21 points against Indiana State.  Goodwin knocked down five 3-pointers at Morehead State as he now ranks ninth in the OVC in both scoring (14.7 ppg) and 3-pointers made (35).

CROSSLAND JUST MISSES DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Ray Crossland just missed a double-double on Thursday at Morehead State.  Crossland matched his season highs with 19 points and nine rebounds.  Earlier this season at Western Illinois, Crossland again just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.  Crossland had scored a season high 19 points against Bradley.  The junior picked up two steals giving him 32 for the season which ranks second in the OVC.
