GAME 13
Eastern Illinois wraps up its first Ohio Valley Conference weekend of the season on Saturday at Austin Peay.  EIU fell to 4-8 overall, 0-1 in the OVC with a 80-52 loss at Murray State on Thursday night.  The Panthers have now lost all eight road games this season.  This will be the second of four straight road games for EIU to open conference play.  Austin Peay enters the game with a 6-7 record including a 1-0 mark in the OVC after a 78-58 win over SIUE on Thursday.  APSU is 6-2 at home this season.

JACKSON GETTING TO THE LINE
Junior guard D'Angelo Jackson continues to get to the free throw line for EIU as he was 6-of-6 from the stripe in the OVC opener at Murray State.  For the season Jackson has 67 free throw attempts to rank third in the OVC in free throw attempts.  He has been to the line six or more times in a game eight times this season with a high of ten attempts on Dec. 19 against Western Illinois.  Since being inserted in the starting line-up at the point guard position, Jackson has averaged 11.5 points per game while going 17-of-23 from the free throw line (73.9 percent).  He also has averaged 3.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds.

GOODWIN DRAINS THE 3-BALL
Montell Goodwin scored in double figures for the fifth straight game as he lead EIU with 16 points in the OVC opener at Murray State.  Goodwin was 4-of-9 from 3-point range as he has hit 12 3-pointers in the last three games and is 16-of-39 (41 percent) from beyond the arc in the last five contests.  Goodwin has moved into a tie for 19th on the EIU career 3-pointers made list with 93 and needs one more to tie for 18th.  Goodwin is averaging 16.8 points per game in the last five games and is 9th in the OVC in 3-pointers made this year with 25.
