GAME 27
Eastern Illinois will play its final three regular season games on the road starting Thursday night at Austin Peay.  The Panthers have won four of their last five after knocking off a pair of OVC West Division leaders at home last week. EIU climbed back to the .500 mark for the season at 13-13 overall, 5-8 in the OVC.  EIU faces Austin Peay for the second time this season after the Governors won the first match-up on Jan. 14 in Charleston, 92-84.  Since that game APSU is 2-5 to stand at 8-18 overall, 4-8 in the OVC.

GOODWIN WINS OVER PLAYER & NEWCOMER WEEKLY HONOR
Montell Goodwin was named the OVC Player and Newcomer of the Week after helping lead EIU to wins over UT Martin and Southeast Missouri.  It is the second time this year Goodwin has swept the two awards after doing so on Dec. 19 following the Panthers win over Missouri.  Goodwin averaged 23 points per game shooting 62 percent (10-of-16) from 3-point range.  He scored 22 points against UTM and 24 against SEMO as he has six 20+ scoring games this season.  Goodwin is 13th in the OVC in scoring.

THREE PLAYERS POST DOUBLE-DOUBLES IN WIN
Eastern Illinois had three players finish with double-doubles on Saturday against Southeast Missouri with Muusa Dama (14 pts, 18 reb), Ray Crossland (15 pts, 11 reb) and Demetrius McReynolds (11 pts, 10 reb) all posting double-doubles.  It was the first time in school history that three EIU players had finished a game with a double-double.  While rare in EIU school history it has happened 15 times this season including three times on Saturday alone.  Radford and Fort Wayne both had three players with double-doubles to join EIU in that group for this year.  Two OVC schools - Jacksonville State and Tennessee State - have also had a game this season with three players posting double-doubles.
