MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Eastern Illinois men's soccer played to another draw on the road Sunday night. EIU tied with Milwaukee 1-1 making it their second draw this season.

The goals for both teams came in the first 13 minutes of play.
Alex Castaneda started the action quickly scoring in the first 14 seconds of the match, likely the quickest goal in program history. Castaneda shot for the upper right corner of the net, beating the goalkeeper for EIU's only goal of the game.

Christian Sosnowski both assisted Castaneda on the play. Milwaukee's only goal of the match came just before the 13
th minute of the match. He was assisted by Jamie Colin and Evan Conway.

Mike Novotny played the full 110 minutes in the net for EIU and had his work cut out for him. Milwaukee tested EIU's defense taking 28 shots total with 11 of them on goal. Novotny tallied 10 saves with seven of them coming in the first half.

The Panthers will return to Lakeside Field on Sept. 1 as they host Western Michigan at 3 p.m. for their first home match of the regular season.Â
