GAME 18
Eastern Illinois trailed a majority of the game on Saturday as they lost to Belmont falling to 6-11 overall, 2-4 in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Panthers will continue their four-game OVC homestand this weekend as they host UT Martin on Thursday night and Southeast Missouri on Saturday afternoon.  EIU is now 2-3 without starting point guards Terrell Lewis and D'Angelo Jackson with the Panthers averaging 60 points per game and shooting 37 percent from the floor without both players.  UT Martin enters the week at 6-13 overall, 1-5 in the OVC.  The Skyhawks have lost five straight OVC games and are 1-9 on the road this season.

GOODWIN CONTINUES SCORING STREAK
Montell Goodwin extended his double figure scoring streak to ten straight games as he scored a career high 26 points in the loss to Belmont.  It was the tenth 20+ point game of Goodwin's career and fourth this season.  His previous season high was 23 points against Western Illinois.  Goodwin knocked down 3-of-6 from 3-point range as he ranks 7th in the OVC in 3-pointers made.  For his career Goodwin has moved into a tie for 15th at EIU with 108 career 3-pointers.  He needs three more to tie Bobby Catchings for 14th.  Over the last ten games Goodwin has averaged 18.3 points per game.

PANTHERS OFFENSIVE SHOOTING WOES
Eastern Illinois continued its team shooting woes on Saturday as the Panthers have now shot under 40 percent in all six Ohio Valley Conference games.  EIU ended the night shooting 38.7 percent from the floor, their best effort in six OVC games this season.  EIU also scored 66 points, which was a high for the team in OVC play this year.  The Panthers continue to adjust to life without point guards Terrell Lewis (out the last nine games) and D'Angelo Jackson (out the last five games).
