GAME 21
Eastern Illinois completes its two-game OVC swing through Nashville on Saturday evening playing at Tennessee State.  The Panthers opened the two-game trip on Thursday night with a 81-59 loss at Belmont as the Bruins swept the season series.  EIU dropped to 7-13 overall, 3-6 in the OVC.  Tennessee State beat SIUE on Thursday night as the Tigers have won two of their last three OVC games to improve to 9-11 overall, 4-5 in the OVC.

Mack Smith CONTINUES HOT SHOOTING
After winning OVC Freshman of the Week honors last week with a pair of double figure scoring games, Mack Smith continued that scoring streak on Thursday night at Belmont.  Smith finished with a team high 16 points as he was 7-of-12 from the floor.  Smith added a team high six rebounds in the loss.  Smith opened his three-game run last Thursday with a double-double against UT Martin (22 points, 11 rebounds).  Over the last three games Smith is averaging 18.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.  He is shooting 54 percent from the field (20-of-37) and 48 percent from 3-point range (13-of-27).

PRICE REACHES DOUBLE FIGURES FOR FIRST TIME
Redshirt senior DeVantae Price came off the bench to provide the Panthers with a career high scoring night.  Price scored six points in the first half and finished the night with 12 points marking the first time Price has scored in double figures in his EIU career.  Price's previous career high was eight points earlier this season in the Panthers win over Fontbonne.  Price was 4-of-5 from the floor while knocking down 4-of-4 from the free throw line.  Price was part of a 22-point effort by the Panthers bench.  Last Saturday against Southeast Missouri EIU had no bench scoring, marking the first time in 277 games that EIU had a game without a bench point.
