GAME 15
Eastern Illinois wraps up its four game road swing to open the Ohio Valley Conference season on Saturday at Eastern Kentucky.  The Panthers picked up their first OVC and first road win of the season on Thursday night at Morehead State.  EIU improved to 5-9 overall, 1-2 in the OVC.  EIU plays at EKU on Saturday with the Colonels entering the game at 6-10 overall, 0-3 in the OVC following a home loss to SIUE on Thursday night.

GOODWIN CONTINUES SCORING STREAK
Montell Goodwin scored 20 points on Thursday night at Morehead State as the senior has now scored in double figures in seven straight games and has 12 double figure scoring games for the season.  Goodwin knocked down four 3-pointers at Morehead State giving the senior 34 3-pointers this season and 102 for his career.  Goodwin has knocked down 21 3-pointers in the last five games shooting 48 percent from 3-point range in those contests.  He currently ranks 8th in the OVC in 3-pointers made this season.

PANTHERS ON THE GLASS
Eastern Illinois did a good job controlling the glass during Thursday's win over Morehead State.  EIU finished with a 40-31 margin as the Panthers have now won the battle on the boards in six games this season.  EIU had a balanced rebounding approach with all five starters pulling down five or more rebounds with Ray Crossland and Montell Goodwin each snagging six.  EIU's big advantage in the win was on the offensive glass with EIU pulling down 15 offensive rebounds.  On the season EIU ranks second in the OVC in offensive rebounds averaging 12.3 offensive rebounds per game.  Muusa Dama and Jajuan Starks both have more than 30 offensive rebounds.
