DENVER - Edgar Mesa of Eastern Illinois men's soccer earns All-Conference honors Wednesday night as the Summit League releases their post season awards at the annual Summit League banquet. Mesa was named First Team All-Conference by the league's coaches.

Mesa helped the Panthers in the back field this year as one of their core defenders. Mesa started in all 17 matches this season playing the full duration in 12 matches. He logged 215 minutes in EIU's first two conference match-ups vs. Denver and Western Illinois helping the Panthers post back-to-back conference shutouts.
