Eastern Illinois wraps up a three-game road swing on Friday night at Iowa State as the Panthers play their final game prior to the Holiday Break. EIU is on a three game win streak following a 73-66 win at Bradley last Saturday. The Panthers improved to 6-5 on the season and 2-3 on the road. EIU is averaging 79 points per game during the three game win streak while shooting 49.2 percent from the field. Iowa State enters at 9-2 on the season with the Cyclones ranked among the teams also receiving votes in both Top 25 polls. Iowa State is 6-0 at home this season.
MACK SMITH HOT FROM 3-POINT RANGE

Mack Smith hit three of his six 3-pointers during the Panthers 11-2 second half run that helped EIU win at Bradley on Saturday night. Smith finished with a season high 20 points as he was the Panthers top returning scorer from last season at 12.4 points per game. Smith has started to warm up from 3-point range over the last three games shooting 56.3 percent. He is shooting 44.1 percent from 3-point range over the last six games. Smith has made at least one 3-pointer in each game this year and ranks sixth in the OVC this season with 24 made 3's. He ended last season with 17 straight games with a made 3-pointer including two games with six made 3-pointers.
SHAREEF SMITH DELIVERS AT BRADLEY
Shareef Smith hit a 3-pointer with 12:45 remaining at Bradley that gave the Panthers a 3-point lead they would never surrender as the junior finished with 12 points. Smith would then go 4-of-4 from the foul line in the final 35 seconds to help secure the win. It was the third double figure game this season for Smith who had a season high 13 points at IUPUI. Smith added three assists with no turnovers as he has 23 assists and eight turnovers over the last five games.
