GAME 21
Eastern Illinois won its second straight Ohio Valley Conference road game on Thursday night as the Panthers beat UT Martin, 66-64.  It was also the second straight game that EIU has hit a game winning shot in the final 15 seconds as the Panthers improved to 12-8 overall, 5-2 in the OVC.  EIU wraps up the two-game road swing with a Saturday afternoon game at Southeast Missouri with the game carried on ESPN3 as part of the league's Game of the Week package.  Southeast Missouri enters at 6-14 overall, 1-6 in the OVC following a 3-overtime loss at home on Thursday to SIUE.  SEMO is 1-3 in home OVC games this season.

LATE GAME HEROICS CONTINUE
The late game heroics continued for Eastern Illinois on Thursday night as the Panthers pulled out a 66-64 win at UT Martin.  Josiah Wallace scored the final eight points of the game for EIU including a 3-pointer with 12 seconds remaining that put the Panthers in front.  Cam Burrell then blocked a shot as time expired that sealed the win for EIU.  Last Saturday EIU knocked off OVC co-leader Austin Peay when Shareef Smith hit a game winner with four seconds left and scored the final ten points of the game for EIU.  The Panthers are 7-0 in games decided by five points or less this season including 4-0 in overtime.  It was the fifth time this season EIU has trailed by 12 or more points in the second half and rallied to win.

JAQUALIS MATLOCK WITH A SOLID GAME
JaQualis Matlock had one of his best games of the season on Thursday at UT Martin.  Matlock finished with 13 points as he scored in double figures for the second time this season.  The junior college transfer scored six straight points to open the second half and help cut into a 12-point EIU halftime deficit.  Matlock added four rebounds with three on the offensive glass. He now has 19 rebounds in the last four games with 12 offensive boards.
