INDIANAPOLIS – Eastern Illinois women's tennis lost on Sunday afternoon at the University of Indianapolis, 7-0.  The loss dropped EIU to 3-4 on the season.
 
Indianapolis won all three matches in doubles to claim the opening point of the match.  Anya Novikova and Nikola Alexeeva needed a tie-breaker to beat EIU's Rachel Papavasilopoulos and Srishti Slaria at number one doubles.  The UINDY tandem won 7-6 (7-5).
 
In singles action the Greyhounds swept all six singles matches in straight sets.  Abby Carpenter was able to push her second set to a tie-breaker against Novikova before falling 6-0, 7-6 (7-3).
 
At number one singles Alexeeva defeated Papavasilopoulos 6-0, 7-5.
