EVANSVILLE, Ind - Eastern Illinois men's soccer team was defeated by the Evansville Aces in 3-1 on Friday night.

UE got on the board with a goal by Matic Pavlic in the 21st minute. The Purple Aces extended the lead to 2-0 on a penalty shot by J. Stafford-Lacey in the 76th minute.
 
The Panthers lone goal was scored by senior Alex Castaneda in the 79th minute, cutting the Aces lead in half. 

Cameron Behm was the only other EIU player that had two shots on the game.

The Purple Aces added another goal in the final minute of the game, pushing the score to 3-1.

EIU looks to bounce back next week on Monday as The Panthers take on Xavier on the road.
