GAME 22
Eastern Illinois plays its second straight game against a co-leader in the Ohio Valley Conference standings as the Panthers wrap up their weekend road trip with a Saturday game at Austin Peay.  EIU had two late chances to force regulation at OVC co-leader Murray State on Thursday night with both shots off the mark as EIU dropped to 11-10, 4-5 in the OVC.  All five OVC losses have come on the road.  Austin Peay improved to 10-0 at home in the Dunn Center this year beating SIUE on Thursday at the Governors are now 15-7 overall, 9-0 in the OVC.

DIXON DOMINATES GLASS WITH ANOTHER DOUBLE-DOUBLE
George Dixon had a dominating night on the glass on Thursday at Murray State as he pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds including eight on the offensive glass.  It marked the first time an EIU player has collected 15 or more rebounds in a game since Muusa Dama pulled down 17 at South Alabama in December 2016.  Dixon finished the game with ten points for his second straight double-double and eighth of the season.  Dixon currently ranks 19th in the NCAA in offensive rebounds and 39th in the nation in double-doubles.

WALLACE WITH ANOTHER SCORING SPURT
Josiah Wallace has his second big scoring spurt in the last three games on Thursday at Murray State as the junior first-team All-OVC guard scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half.  Last week in the home win over UT Martin, Wallace scored 20 of his 22 in the first half.  Earlier this season Wallace scored 27 in the second half at Tennessee State scoring a career-high 32 points.  Wallace has now scored in double figures in 11 straight games and ranks 10th in the OVC in scoring this season at 13.4 points per game.  Thursday night's 20-point scoring half was the ninth time in Wallace's career he has scored 16 or more points in a half.
