GAME 15
Eastern Illinois continues its seven-game road swing on Thursday night as the Panthers play their third straight Ohio Valley Conference game away from home.  EIU visits Eastern Kentucky looking to snap a three-game losing skid including a pair of losses in Nashville last weekend.  EIU enters at 7-7 overall, 0-2 in the OVC.  EKU snapped its eight-game losing skid in the OVC opener over Tennessee Tech as the Colonels are now 4-11 overall, 1-1 in the OVC.

WALLACE PRODUCTION INCREASING
Josiah Wallace opened Ohio Valley Conference play with 32 points on Thursday night at Tennessee State.  The preseason All-OVC guard followed that up with 17 points on Saturday at Belmont as he currently ranks second in the OVC in scoring in conference games.  Wallace was EIU's leading scorer last season while ranking seventh in the OVC.  He got off to a slow start this season being held to single digits in four of the Panthers first five games.   Wallace has now scored in double figures in four straight games and eight of the last nine.  He is averaging 20 points per game over the last four contests while shooting 52.8 percent from the floor and 50 percent (7-of-14) from 3-point range.

REBOUNDING LEADS TO WINS & LOSSES
Eastern Illinois lost the battle on the boards at Belmont on Saturday as the Panthers fell to 0-2 in OVC action.  It was the seventh time this season that EIU has lost the rebounding battle and in all seven of those games EIU has suffered a loss.  In the seven games EIU has won this season the Panthers have won the battle on the boards in all seven.  On the year EIU holds a plus 2.9 rebounding margin with that margin increasing to plus 14.6 in Panther wins and falling to negative 8.9 in EIU losses.
