GAME 25
Eastern Illinois wraps up its three-game homestand on Thursday night as the Panthers host SIUE.  It will be the first of two meetings between the two Ohio Valley Conference travel partners over the final three weeks of the season.  EIU wraps up the regular season on Feb. 29 at SIUE.  The Panthers climbed back to .500 on the year at 12-12 overall, 5-7 in the OVC with a Saturday win over Morehead State.  SIUE beat Eastern Kentucky on Saturday as the Cougars are 3-9 in the OVC with wins over Belmont and Southeast Missouri.  SIUE is 6-19 overall.

ANOTHER BIG HALF BY JOSIAH WALLACE
Josiah Wallace had a big scoring half for the second straight home game as the junior scored 16 of his 25 points in the opening half against Morehead State.  It marked the 11th time in his career that Wallace has scored 16 or more points in a game and the third time in the Panthers last four games (20 at both Murray State and against Eastern Kentucky).  Wallace's best half this season was 27 against Tennessee State.  He currently leads the Panthers in scoring at 14.1 points per game which ranks ninth in the OVC.

MACK SMITH MOVES UP NCAA RECORD LIST
For the second Saturday in a row junior Mack Smith passed a historic mark in his EIU career.  Two weeks ago he became the 40th player in EIU history to pass the 1,000 point mark for his career.  This past Saturday he knocked down a pair of 3-pointers as he moved into second place on the NCAA Division I all-time list for consecutive games with a 3-pointer made.  Smith has knocked down a 3-pointer in 73 straight games.  The NCAA record is 88 set by Cory Bradford of Illinois in 2001.
