GAME 11
Eastern Illinois wraps up its week hosting Austin Peay, one of the preseason predicted co-favorites to win this year's Ohio Valley Conference title.   The Panthers beat the other co-favorite on Thursday night as EIU rallied for the second straight year to beat Murray State.  EIU used a late 16-0 run to beat the Racers, 74-68, to improved to 5-5 overall, 2-1 in the OVC.  This game opens a stretch of four games in eight days with three of them at home at First Mid Court at Lantz Arena.  Austin Peay comes into the game at 6-4, 2-2 in the OVC.  The Governors did not play their scheduled Thursday night contest at SIUE.  The game will feature the number one and number two scorers in the league in Austin Peay's Terry Taylor and EIU's Josiah Wallace.

WALLACE FINISHES WITH A DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Josiah Wallace collected his first career double-double on Thursday night as the Panthers beat Murray State.  Wallace scored 18 points while pulling down ten rebounds, all on the defensive glass.  It marked the eighth time this season that Wallace has scored in double figures as he ranks second in the OVC in scoring at 17.9 points per game.  Wallace was 6-of-6 at the foul line as he leads the league in free throw percentage at 89.1 percent.  Wallace now has 1,157 career points and ranks 23rd on the career scoring list.  He needs 17 points to move up to 21st and then will be chasing teammate Mack Smith for 20th on the Panthers scoring charts.

JOHNSON POSTS 20+ POINT EFFORT
Marvin Johnson scored a career high 22 points on Thursday against Murray State finishing with five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.  Johnson has scored in double figures in seven of the last eight games for EIU averaging 14.3 points per game during that stretch.  The senior guard has a pair of double-doubles to his credit this season with 19 points and ten assists against Tennessee Tech and 11 points and 11 rebounds against Western Illinois.
