CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois men's tennis played its first home match at Darling Courts in nearly two years as the Panthers hosted Tennessee Tech in Ohio Valley Conference play on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles won the doubles point and then would secure all six singles points to beat EIU, 7-0.

In doubles play, TTU won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. At the time the Golden Eagles clinched the doubles overall point,
Christos Kyrillou and
Thomas Wallace were winning their match at No. 2 doubles 5-3 over Carlos Vicente and Rafael Tosetto. The match was left unfinished.

In singles play, EIU again juggled its line-up with
Karan Srivastava playing tough at No. 1 singles before losing 6-2, 6-4 to Vincente.

Pau Riera battled at No. 5 singles losing to Andre Rodeia 6-2, 6-4 and
Cameron Slabbert competed at No. 6 singles before losing 6-1, 6-4 to Mika Berhaus.

EIU fell to 2-11 overall, 0-2 in the OVC. TTU improved to 5-5 on the year, 2-0 in the OVC.
