DECATUR, Ill. – Eastern Illinois men's tennis traveled to face Millikin on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference play with the Panthers picking up a 7-2 win over.
EIU won the opening point at No. 3 doubles with
Kyle Burton and
Quinn Camfield picking up an 8-3 win. Millikin then won the points at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
The Panthers would take home all six points in singles action. Burton and Camfield picked up wins playing at No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Burton won 6-0, 6-2 with Camfield winning 6-3, 7-5.
Juan Carlos Garrido picked up a win at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-0.Â
Charles Courteau needed three sets to win his match at No. 2 singles winning 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 10-5.
Christos Kyrillou and
Thomas Wallace closed out the singles wins at No. 1 and No. 3.
