EASTBOUND AND DOWN
Eastern Illinois baseball (17-14, 7-8 OVC) will hit the road as they face the Morehead State Eagles (15-12, 6-3 OVC) in Morehead, Ky. The Panthers are coming off a 10-2 win over the Maryville Saints on Tuesday, Apr. 13. Morehead State has most recently face the Austin Peay Governors in a weekend series. The Eagles won the series 2-1.

THE LINEUP
The Panthers have three players with a batting average higher than .300: Trey Sweeney (.404), Ryan Knernschield (.351), and Lucas DiLuca (.306). Sweeney ranks second in the nation in total RBI with 45, leads the OVC in hits (46), and leads the OVC in runs (35). DiLuca (32) and Dane Toppel (31) also rank in the top five in the OVC in total runs, as the team ranks 21st in the nation in total runs scored. The Panthers will look to take advantage of Allen Field's dimensions and add some more runs to their already impressive total.

ON DECK
The Panthers will host UT Martin next weekend for an OVC series at Coaches Stadium in Charleston, Ill. The opening game of the series will be on Friday, Apr. 23, at 3 p.m.
