Due to heavy rain late this morning in the Charleston area, today's (April 28) OVC softball doubleheader between Eastern Illinois and SIUE has been canceled due to field conditions. 
 
At this time no make-up date has been set for the games.  The two schools split their doubleheader earlier this season in Edwardsville.
 
EIU travels to play at Eastern Kentucky this weekend and then will host Tennessee State on May 8-9.
 
SIUE travels to play at Morehead State this weekend and then will host Belmont on May 8-9.
