CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois and Indiana State both received strong starting pitching performances on Tuesday as they split a midweek non-conference doubleheader at Williams Field.

Hannah Cravens closed out the game allowing one hit in relief.

EIU would score what proved to be the only run the Panthers would need in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by
Haley Mitchell.

EIU would tack on three more runs in the second inning with Price and
Megan Burton both driving in runs.Â
Denaed Santini would score the other EIU run of the inning stealing home.
