Eastern Illinois head women's basketball coach Matt Bollant has finalized his coaching staff for the 2021-22 season with the hiring of Allie LeClaire as an assistant coach with the women's program.
 
LeClaire comes to EIU following a season as an assistant coach at St. Norbert College in Wisconsin where the team did not compete during the NCAA Division III season due to COVID-19.
 
She began her coaching career as an assistant coach with the Legends AAU Basketball Club in Green Bay in 2015.  She has additional AAU coaching stops as an assistant coach with the 1848 AAU Club and again with Legends AAU.  While playing professionally overseas she worked as the head coach at Loreto School (Dublin, Ireland) and Liffey Celtics Club (Leixlip, Ireland). 
 
LeClaire, a former player at Green Bay, played professionally overseas for two seasons in Ireland and Slovakia following a four-year career with the Phoenix.  She earned her degree in 2018.
 
In addition, Bollant has added former Wisconsin Stout player Liz Oswald to his staff as a graduate assistant.
