GAME 19
Eastern Illinois plays the second of four Monday rescheduled COVID games as the Panthers host Belmont.   EIU was originally scheduled to host Belmont on Jan. 1 but postponed the contest due to health and safety protocols.  EIU then missed games with Murray State and Tennessee Tech in a three-game stretch.  EIU has already made up the Murray State contest facing the Racers twice last week before a home Saturday loss to Southeast Missouri that dropped EIU to 2-16 overall, 0-5 in the OVC.  Belmont was off on Saturday having shuffled its schedule earlier this year.  The Bruins last contest was last Thursday when they fell to Morehead State to stand at 14-5 overall, 4-2 in the OVC.

LUERS IN DOUBLE FIGURES AGAIN
Dan Luers was 3-of-3 from 3-point range on Saturday against Southeast Missouri as he finished with 14 points.  It was his second straight double figure scoring game after collecting ten points on Thursday at Murray State.  In the game at Murray State he was 3-of-4 from 3-point range.  Luers has made seven of his last eight 3-pointers and is shooting 57.1 percent from 3-point range this season.  He has one additional double figure scoring game with 11 points in December at Butler.

CLEMENTS WITH SOLID PRODUCTION
Kejuan Clements finished with 14 points on Saturday against Southeast Missouri to finish tied for team high scoring honors.  It was the fifth time this season that Clements has reached double figures with a high of 25 earlier this year when he turned in a double-double against North Park (11 assists).  Clements is currently EIU's leader in scoring at 8.9 points per game and ranks fourth in the OVC in assists at 4.2 per game.  He passed out seven assists against Southeast Missouri marking the fifth time this season he has finished a game with seven or more assists.
