LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Eastern Illinois women's soccer made its first trip to face Ohio Valley Conference newcomer Little Rock and the Panthers came away with points for their third straight match playing to a 1-1 draw with the Trojans.

EIU has now played to three straight draws in its last three matches with road contests at Morehead State and Little Rock with a home tie against UT Martin.

EIU scored in the opening half of the match as
Cam Korhorn was credited with the goal in the 29th minute of the match creating pressure in the Little Rock goal box.

The Trojans would counter in the final 20 minutes of the match tying the contest at 1-1 in the 73rd minute on a goal by Bronte Peel.Â

EIU finished the match with six shots with shots on goal by
Kate Germano and Korhorn.

Daniela Bermeo made three saves in net for EIU as Little Rock had 16 total shots with four on goal. Peel had two of the Trojans four shots.

EIU is now 2-5-7 on the season, 0-3-3 in the OVC with matches this week against Lindenwood at home on Thursday and on the road Sunday at Southern Indiana.

Little Rock is now 5-6-4 on the season, 2-3-2 in the OVC.
