CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois picked up another point in the Ohio Valley Conference women's soccer race as the Panthers played to a 1-1 draw with UT Martin on Senior Day.

EIU came out with a quick offensive burst scoring one its quickest goals this season as
Jenna Little scored just 3:02 into the match. Little's goal, her fourth this season, was assisted by
Cam Korhorn.

EIU nearly pushed its lead out to 2-0 as
Kate Germano's shot off a cross from
Michaela Danyo hit the post. It would be one of two EIU shots to hit the post during the match.

UT Martin would score the equalizer in the match midway through the first half as Izzy Patterson won the race to a loose ball near the top of the goal box as it was played back towards the net by the Panthers working to switch the field.

EIU's other scoring chance that hit the post came off the foot of
Kenzie Balcerak late in the second half.

Both teams would finish with 13 shots in the match. EIU had two shots on goal, both by Little.  UTM had five shots on goal, two of them coming from Patterson.

EIU honored six seniors prior to the start of the match with Danyo and Balcerak joined by
Megan Kenny,
Nicoletta Anuci,
Faith Davies and
Zenaya Barnes.

EIU is now 2-5-6 on the season, 0-3-2 in the OVC. UT Martin is 2-7-4, 0-3-2 in the OVC.
