Rachel Papavasilopoulos picked up her fourth singles win of the season at No. 1 singles beating Tijana Zlatanoivc 6-2, 6-4.

Illinois State opened the match winning the doubles point with wins a No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. The Panthers were leading 4-3 at No. 2 doubles when that match was left unfinished following the Redbirds clinching the doubles point.Â
Elizaveta Bukraba-Ulanova and
Christine Gouws were teamed at No. 2 doubles.

ISU would extend its lead to 2-0 in the match with a win at No. 6 singles before Papavasilopoulos secured the win at No. 1 singles for EIU.

Gouws would drop a three-set match at No. 3 singles falling to Maria Posti, 1-6, 6-1, 6-3.

Bukraba-Ulanova had a hard fought two-set loss at No. 2 singles falling 7-5, 6-1.

Brittany Steven also had a hard fought two-set loss playing at No. 4 singles. Steven lost 7-5, 7-6 (10-8).
