DAYTON, Ohio – Eastern Illinois men's tennis wrapped up its weekend trip to the Cincinnati area on Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 loss at Dayton.
The Flyers won the doubles point winning at No. 2 and 3 doubles. The No. 1 doubles match featuring EIU's
Christos Kyrillou and
Thomas Wallace was left unfinished with Dayton leading 5-4.
In singles play Wallace pushed his match at No. 6 singles to three sets before losing 2-6, 6-2, 6-1.Â
Charles Courteau pushed his match at No. 4 singles losing in three sets in a super tiebreak, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 10-4.
EIU falls to 1-13 on the season. Dayton improved to 7-5.
