EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Eastern Illinois women's tennis wrapped up the 2022 Ohio Valley Conference season on Friday afternoon as the Panthers lost 7-0 at SIUE as EIU played with an adjusted line-up.
 
The Panthers moved players up one or two spots in the order against SIUE with 
Lauren Ellis playing at No. 4 singles and forcing a competitive match against Fabiola Perez before losing 6-3, 7-6 (7-1).
 
Elizaveta Bukraba-Ulanova moved up to play at No. 1 singles while 
Christine Gouws slid up to No. 2 singles.  Both players lost in two sets.
 
Brittany Steven competed at No. 3 singles for EIU with 
Claire Perez-Korinko and 
Kaitlyn Snyder moving into the line-up at No. 5 and 6 singles.
 
EIU will wrap up the 2022 season on Monday hosting Southern Indiana at 3 p.m. at the EIU Darling Courts.
 
EIU fell to 3-18 overall, 1-6 in the OVC.  SIUE improved to 16-4 overall, 4-3 in the OVC.
