Due to heavy rain in the Central Illinois region the last couple of days, Eastern Illinois softball doubleheader with Tennessee Tech scheduled for Saturday evening has been canceled.

The two teams will play two games as part of their three game weekend series on Sunday with a 12 p.m. start Williams Field.

To allow for the field to prepared for today's contests the original start time had been pushed back to a 7 p.m. start but a decision was made late in the day to cancel the contest.

EIU will also honor five members of its 2022 Senior Class as part of Sunday's final home games with
Megan Burton,
Sydney Cammon,
Hannah Cravens,
Kendall Fields and
Abi Stahlhut all set to play for the final time at home.

Live stats for both home games will be available no Sunday.
