2022 EIU Men's Soccer Schedule

Eastern Illinois head men's soccer coach Josh Oakley has released the Panthers schedule for the upcoming 2022 season, Oakley's first leading the program.
 
EIU will have a light home schedule this season with five total matches at Lakeside Field beginning with an exhibition match on August 17 against Parkland College at 4 p.m.
 
The other four home dates all occur during the regular season and are part of an expanded Summit League schedule of games.   EIU hosts Southern Indiana on Saturday Oct. 1 at 2 p.m.
 
The Panthers are then home Oct. 8 against Western Illinois (11 a.m.), Oct. 22 against Kansas City (1 p.m.) and Oct. 29 against Denver (11 a.m.).  The Summit League added Ohio Valley Conference newcomers Southern Indiana and Lindenwood as affiliate members in men's soccer this season expanding the number of teams to nine.
 
EIU will take the pitch for the first time this season on Aug. 13 with an exhibition contest at UIC.  The regular season opener is Aug. 25 at Green Bay followed by a road match at Xavier.
 
EIU has five road dates in September playing at IUPUI (Sept. 2), Purdue Fort Wayne (Sept. 4), Dayton (Sept. 13), Houston Baptist (Sept. 17) and the Summit League opener at St. Thomas (Sept. 24).
 
The Panthers have three road matches in October before ending the regular season on Nov. 5 at Omaha.  The October road schedule includes trips to Lindenwood (Oct. 5), Oral Roberts (Oct. 15) and Belmont (Oct. 26).
