SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Eastern Illinois women's soccer played its second exhibition match of the fall on Thursday evening with the Panthers fall 2-1 to Illinois Springfield.
EIU's goal in the contest was scored by
Jenna Little on an assist from
Kenzie Balcerak. UIS would win the match with a second half penalty kick.
EIU will wrap up exhibition play with the Panthers third preseason match on Sunday as EIU hosts IUPUI at 4 p.m. at Lakeside Field. EIU opened exhibition play last Saturday at Illinois.
Earlier today the OVC released its preseason predicted order of finish with EIU selected seventh in the preseason poll.Â
