Eastern Illinois women's soccer played the first of three exhibition matches this season on Saturday night at Illinois.  EIU would drop the contest 5-0 as the two teams played a series of three 30-minute periods.

EIU will play two more exhibition matches with road contest at Illinois Springfield this week before hosting IUPUI next Sunday, August 14 at Lakeside Field.

EIU opens the regular season at home on Thursday, Aug. 18 against Valparaiso.
