Pau Riera won at No. 2 singles for Eastern Illinois on Saturday afternoon as the Panthers wrapped up their weekend action with a 6-1 loss at Marquette.
EIU opened the weekend with a 7-0 win at Olivet Nazarene on Friday to stand at 4-5 on the season.
Riera won 6-4, 6-3 over Tin Krstulovic at No. 2 singles.  Riera also played at No. 2 doubles with
Alex Dinkov.  The pair was leading 5-2 in their doubles match over Krstulovic and Roegner when Marquette clinched the doubles point. Marquette won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to clinch the doubles point.Â
Thomas Wallace lost in three sets for the Panthers playing at No. 5 singles to Ian Brady. Brady won 5-7, 6-3, 11-9.
Antonio Ayerbe Streubel battled at No. 6 singles for the Panthers against Gui Da Matta. Da Matta won 7-6 (7-4) in the opening set and then 6-1 in the second set.
