Charleston, Ill. – Eastern Illinois women's soccer played its second exhibition match of the fall on Thursday afternoon with the Panthers falling 4-1 to IUPUI.

EIU's goal in the match was scored in the 61th minute by freshman
Abby Reinl on an assist from
Zenaya Barnes.

Within six minutes of action, Sam Slimak found the early goal that gave IUPUI the lead into halftime. Slimak also added her second goal of the afternoon in the 55th minute. IUPUI closed down its three goal period with Emma Antoine and Leah Shumate.

Ashlyn Hoover logged two saves while
Lexi Prusow made five saves for the Panthers.

EIU will wrap up exhibition play with the Panthers third preseason match on Sunday as EIU hosts UIC at 1 p.m. at Lakeside Field.
