Eastern Illinois women's swimming continued the early portion of its 2024-25 as the Panthers dropped a dual meet on Friday evening to Indiana State falling 205-52.

EIU will return to action on Saturday as both the Panther men and women compete in a Tri-Meet featuring Valparaiso and Bellarmine.

Corinne Staneart and
Claire Malinowski posted a top three finish in the 100 breaststroke. Staneart was second with a time of 1:10.30 with Malinowski in third at 1:13.19.

Olivia Viele had a third place finish in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:14.78.

Staneart and Malinowski both returned later in the meet with a second and third place finish in the 200 breaststroke. Staneart's time was 2:28.91 with Malinowski touching the wall at 2:38.98.
