2025 EIU Softball Schedule

Eastern Illinois softball has released its 2025 schedule as first-year head coaches Kristi Paulson and Dan Paulson unveiled the Panthers upcoming spring slate.
 
EIU will open the year at four different in-season tournaments beginning at the Incarnate Word Tournament on Feb. 7-9.  The tournament in San Antonio, Texas features host Incarnate Word along with UT Arlington and Prairie View A&M.
 
The next week EIU travels to Troy, Ala., to play in the Troy Trojan Classic on Feb. 14-16 with teams in the field consisting of host Troy, Western Kentucky and Alabama State.
 
EIU's third in-season tournament will be at the ULM Warhawk Invitational in Monroe, La., on Feb. 21-23.  The tournament will feature host Louisiana Monroe along with Stephen F. Austin and Houston Christian.
 
The final tournament will be in Miami, Fla., at the Florida International Classic.  FIU will host Saint Francis (Pa.), Toledo and Bradley along with EIU in the Feb. 28-March 2 event.
 
The defending Ohio Valley Conference regular season champions open conference play on the road at Lindenwood on March 8.  EIU will also play OVC road series at UT Martin, Tennessee Tech, Tennessee State and Western Illinois this spring.  The final regular season series will be on the road May 3-4 at WIU.
 
EIU's first home games of the spring at Williams Field will be on March 15-16 against Morehead State.  EIU also hosts Southeast Missouri (March 29-30), Southern Indiana (April 12-13) and SIUE (April 26-27) as part of this year's conference schedule.
 
The Panthers midweek schedule features a mixture of both Power Four Conference schools and regional rivals.  EIU will host Washington on March 27 and Indiana State on April 22 at Williams Field.  The Panthers play midweek contests at Purdue, Saint Louis and Illinois.
 
The OVC Tournament returns to Louisville Slugger Field in Peoria, Ill., once again this year from May 7-10 with the NCAA Regionals set for May 16-18.
