Eastern Illinois women's tennis won one of the three doubles matches and pushed a singles match to three sets as the Panthers lost to Saint Louis, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon at the St. Clair Racquet Club.

In doubles play, EIU was able to clinch the final doubles match at No. 1 doubles as
Addison Brown and
Jemma Booth picked up a 6-4 win. SLU took the overall doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

In singles play freshman
Charleigh Fay moved up one spot in the line-up and played at No. 3 singles. She won her opening set 6-2 before dropping the second set 6-4. Aleshina Kseniaa would then beat Fay in the third set tie-break winning 10-4 to win the match.

EIU would lose the other five singles matches in two sets each.Â
Michelle Kostadinova lost 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4 singles while
Emma Pilipovic-Kljajic lost 6-3, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.

EIU returns to action this weekend with three matches in Milwaukee on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
