Playing short-handed once again due to player illness, Eastern Illinois men's tennis lost the first of two weekend matches in Milwaukee with a 4-1 neutral site loss to Omaha.

Zach White picked up the win for the Panthers climbing up to play at No. 4 singles in the order. White beat Christian Trevey, 6-1, 6-3.

William Hays pushed his second set to a tie-break before losing in two sets to Gabe Whiston, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).

Thomas Wallace had his match left unfinished at No. 3 singles as the Mavericks won at No.1 and No. 2 singles.

Omaha also picked up the doubles point winning at No. 3 doubles by default and winning in a tie-break at No. 1 doubles over Wallace and
Pau Riera. Omaha's No. 1 doubles of Mikhail Korkunov and Ryoma Mishiro won 7-6 (7-5).
