Eastern Illinois women's tennis wrapped up its busy week with a Sunday match at Marquette as the Panthers played four matches in five days including three straight matches in the city of Milwaukee.
EIU lost on Sunday, 7-0, to Marquette.
The Golden Eagles took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles. Â
Addison Brown and
Jemma Booth had their match at No. 1 doubles left unfinished.
In singles play Marquette won all six singles points in two sets.Â
Playing at No. 2 singles
Jemma Booth pushed her second set to a tie-break before losing to Emma Davis. Davis beat Booth 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).
Playing at No. 4 singles
Michelle Kostadinova lost her opening set 6-1 to Tiana Windbuchler before pushing the second set to 7-5 in the loss.
EIU returns to action on Friday at Bradley.
