Eastern Illinois men's tennis collected its first win of the 2024 spring season as the Panthers won 7-0 on Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan.

The Panthers won all three doubles matches to sweep the point. Â
Thomas Wallace and
Pau Riera playing at No. 2 doubles posted an impressive 8-0 win as all three doubles matches were clinched at eight.

In singles action, EIU won all six singles matches in two-sets. Â
Tyler Carlin dominated at No. 5 singles winning 6-0, 6-0.

Cameron Slabbert won at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-3 while
Jon William Karlstad won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 singles. Both players have now won their second singles matches of the season to improve their records to 2-2 on the season.

Wallace won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and Riera won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. EIU's final win was by
William Hays at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 decision.
