Tournament Results
Eastern Illinois women's golf opened the 2024 fall season playing at "The Velvet" hosted by Murray State. The 54-hole event was hold at the Par 72 Country Club of Paducah in Kentucky with the Panthers placing 15th.
Meera Upadhyay was the Panthers leading golfer finishing in a tie for 41st after shooting three consistent rounds. Upadhyay opened with a round of 80 on Monday, her low round of the weekend and shot 83 and 81 to post a 54-hole total of 244.
Olivia Quigley was EIU's opening day leader after back-to-back rounds of 81. On Tuesday she fell back in the standings to finish with a 54-hole score of 256 and in 76th place.
Mya Mirocha and
Lindsey Hastings were next to each other in the final standings for EIU with Mirocha placing 80th and Hastings in 81st. Mirocha shot 260 with her best round of 83 on Monday afternoon. Hastings best round of 84 came on Monday morning as she shot 261 for the event.
Morgan Grant was the Panthers final golfer shooting 274. Her best round was 86 on Monday afternoon as she placed 88th in the field.
Austin Peay won the team title with Carolina Patterson of UNC Asheville the individual medalist.
