Eastern Illinois women's golf continues to play well in the early portion of the 2024 fall season as the Panthers finished in a tie for 8th at the 2024 Youngstown State Roseann Schwartz Invitational.

EIU played the tournament with just four golfers and all four played well for the weekend. EIU shot a 36-hole team score of 630 for the best performance by the team since the 2010 season. EIU finished in a tie with LeMoyne as host Youngstown State won the team title. Neeranuch Prajunpanich of Youngstown State was the individual medalist carding a total of two-under par 142.

Meera Upadhyay was the Panthers leader opening with a round of 74 on Sunday before a closing round of 78 landed her a tie for 20th with a 36-hole score of 152 which was just outside the EIU career top ten for 36-hole scoring.

Morgan Grant and
Olivia Quigley both tied for 35th with scores of 157. Quigley opened with a round of 76 and closed with a score of 81. Grant had the reverse score opening with an 81 and closing with a 76.

Mya Mirocha was the final EIU golfer in the field placing in a tie for 58th with a score of 164. Mirocha's best round was an 81 on Sunday.
