Women's Tennis Loses Season Opener 6-1

Ornella Lomenzo picks up win at No. 2 singles



Eastern Illinois women's tennis opened the 2025 spring season on Saturday night hosting North Dakota in Terre Haute, Ind.  The Fighting Hawks picked up the 6-1 win,

Ornella Lomenzo picked up the win for the Panthers playing at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Jule Schulte.

North Dakota won all three doubles matches by 6-1 scores in each.

Charleigh Fay pushed her second set against Nove Heinitz at No. 4 singles before falling in two sets 6-2, 7-6 (3).
