Eastern Illinois women's soccer had its nine match unbeaten streak snapped on Thursday afternoon as the Panthers suffered a 1-0 loss at Lindenwood.
 
EIU had not lost a match since August 31 at Northern Illinois.  The loss drops EIU to 8-5-3 overall, 5-1-1 in the OVC.  EIU hosts Little Rock for senior day on Sunday.
 
Lindenwood improved to 7-4-4 overall, 4-2-1 in the OVC as teams continue to battle for seeding in the upcoming OVC Tournament with two regular season matches remaining.
 
EIU was limited to eight shots in the match with only two on goal, both from junior Abby Reinl.
 
Ella Kratochvil made six saves in goal for the Panthers allowing the one Lions goal in the seven minutes.  Colleen Bauer, Kate Germano and Ella Onstott all logged 90 minutes on the pitch for the Panthers.
 
Anna Johnson scored with 6:27 remaining in the contest on an assist from Mackenzie Compton.
