Eastern Illinois women's soccer dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 match on Sunday afternoon to Little Rock as the Panthers honored the seven members of the EIU senior class.

EIU fell to 8-6-3 overall, 5-2-1 in the OVC as the Panthers wrap up the regular season next Sunday at Tennessee Tech. Little Rock improved to 7-3-5 overall, 5-0-3 in the OVC.

The lone goal of the match came in the 21st minute as Amaya Arias flipped ahead a pass and Maria Schuller was able to win the foot race against EIU's goalkeeper and back defender to tally the only goal, her 12th of the season.

Little Rock finished with six shots on goal with Arias recording two of them.

EIU had four shots on goal with
Alex Tetteh having one shot on goal and another good scoring chance hitting the crossbar.Â

Madi Watt had the other EIU shots on net.
